Upcoming Budget Allocation Courses

We've been running budget planning workshops since 2019. Started small with weekend sessions in Perth, now we're scheduling programs across Western Australia. What changed? People actually asked for more practical sessions.

Our autumn 2025 schedule covers everything from household budgeting basics to business expense management. Most programs run six to eight weeks. And yeah, they're designed for people who've never touched a spreadsheet before.

What's Coming This Year

These are the confirmed programs launching between August and November 2025. Some fill up quickly, others have spots until the week before. Registration opens three months ahead.

Personal Finance Fundamentals

Starting August 18, 2025

Six Monday evenings starting at 6:30 PM. We'll cover the 50/30/20 method, zero-based budgeting, and envelope systems. Taught by Margot Phillips, who used to work in retail banking before switching to education.

  • Location: Mandurah Community Centre
  • Duration: 6 weeks, 2 hours per session
  • Materials included: workbook and budget templates

  • Location: Online via video sessions
  • Duration: 8 weeks, Tuesday evenings
  • Group size: Maximum 12 participants

Advanced Allocation Strategies

  • Location: Leslie Street training room
  • Duration: 10 weeks, Thursday mornings
  • Prerequisites: Basic budgeting knowledge

Family Budget Workshop

How We Run Sessions

In-Person Classes

Most popular format. You show up, we work through exercises together, everyone asks questions. Coffee's usually terrible but the discussions are worth it. Max 15 people per room.

Live Online Sessions

Same structure as in-person, just via video. Works well for people in regional areas or with unpredictable schedules. We record sessions so you can catch up if you miss one.

Weekend Intensives

Cram six weeks into three Saturdays. Exhausting but efficient. Good option if you want to finish quickly or can't commit to weekly sessions. Includes lunch breaks.

Registration Opens July 2025

We'll email details about each program six weeks before it starts. Course fees range between 0 and 0 depending on duration. Couples attending together get 15% off the family workshop.
